Miuccia Prada has long been obsessed with sportswear, especially of the American variety. Often a running theme throughout both mainline and the MiuMiu diffusion lines, sportswear seems to have staying power within the luxury landscape almost singlehandedly due to Prada. This vintage longsleeve is from the early 2000s, a features a very on-the-nose interpretation of sportswear, with a bedazzled take on the football jersey. Slim fitting with a wide boat neck, the front features a print adorned with crystal applique and unilateral arm stripes. Due to it's age, many of the crystals have fallen off, and there is some pilling and cracking throughout, but with the recent resurgence in Y2K fashion, this shirt is sure to find it's way into a modern wardrobe.
