In recent years, Rick has expanded on his denim program. In the spiritual successor to his SLAB line of denim, existing for a short while in the early 2000s, and being made exclusively in the USA, this time around Rick has sought the aid of artisans in Japan’s Okayama prefecture. Produced exclusively by Yasmaashi Orimono based in Kurashiki, the limited run of denim garments utilises traditional processes to execute Rick’s avant-garde vision. The Geth cargos are giant baggy fit pants, with a dropped crotch and extended inseam to emphasise that heelbite everybody is after these days. 6-pocket detailing, including two namesake cargo pockets over the thigh with a rear gusset, all executed in ultra-lightweight 9oz selvedge denim that has a hand-feel similar to linen.
