Hailing from London, Iranian designer Paria Farzaneh injects every inch of her heritage and culture into her designs. Master of craft and pattern work, Farzaneh often mixed and weaves together traditional Iranian patterns and motifs into garments, often focusing on some kind of technical aspect. This jacket is her take on a denim trucker. With a classic boxy fit, there are so many idiosyncrasies in the construction, from the asymmetrical neck cover, to the pleated and bellowed hand pockets, to western inspired pointed button flaps, to branded jean buttons. Obviously the standout detail, traditional Iranian patterning in a flocked navy, a subtle contrast against the forest green denim.
Unfortunately, a previous owner has damaged this jacket with bleach. This is reflected in the price.
