Another piece of amazing 90s tailoring from Comme des Garcons - this time from the Junya Watanabe lead Homme line. First of all, the fabric is a densely woven fine wool in a glen plaid, with speckles of burgundy, tan, teal, and blue with main charcoal and light grey tones. This results in an incredible depth and complexity beyond what meets the eye. The fit is very much of the time - boxy squared off shoulders and shorter sleeves typify the blazer, whilst the pants feature a double pleat and high waist with a taper in the leg (they have been hemmed so can be released if one wishes). Smooth cupro lining throughout.
