Grace Wales Bonner's eponymous menswear label has become one of the most notable in recent times. Aside from the incredibly prevalent Adidas collaborations, especially with the resurgence of the Samba in the current Zeitgeist, Bonner's Afro-Carribean infused designs rooted in British casual-wear is instantly relatable and inclusive. Among her most signature designs are the track-tops or track jackets, synonymous with footballing culture from it's popularisation in the 1960s right until modern day, arguably having more staying power in various trends, eras, and cliques than almost any other garment in recent memory. Bonner's interpretation harkens to a bygone era of track tops that were intentionally bright and bold, with a skin hugging fit for warmth. Cut from a recycled blend of polyester jersey and microfleece, the "Percussion" jacket features contrasting cream, orange, and brown panelling, with her signature crochet trims at the raglan sleeves and signature monogram.
