Kiko Kostadinov has drawn direct influence from the uniforms of Japanese working-class citizens since his days studying at CSM. His Meno line from the FW23 collection heavily references the utilitarian garb of said blue-collar workers, valuing function over all, yet still looking the part. The Meno cargos feature a tailored and smart fit with modular design elements. Pleats at the waist are hidden by strategically placed belt loops, with cargo pockets overlying the slit hand pockets to create a discrete aesthetic, yet functional with a bellowed and untacked bottom corner. Lightweight cotton/nylon fabric with a peached surface allows the wide leg to bellow and flow with movement, with ankle cinches to change the fit. Internal straps allow the rear of the pant to be tacked up and convert them to a more capri-like fit.
