One of Margiela's most iconic designs is possibly lifted directly from their namesake. The Replica series aims to recreate specific moments in time through garments, accessories, and fragrances. The German Army Trainers are inspired by just that - sneakers made initially by Adidas for the German military, to be used in recreation. Their unassuming design has continued to be recontextualised over time, ultimately leading to it being a staple some 50 years after it's initial creation. Tonal suede and leather compose the upper, with a full leather lining, and contrast gum sole. C*mshot paint splatter over the toe boxes, designed to crack and chip with time. Suede tongue patch with Margiela Number lockup to complete a minimal look. Some scuffing on the medial heel bilaterally. Comes with original box and sole covers.
