Ryota Iwai’s Auralee is a relatively new kid on the bloke, only founded in 2015. However, this is not a slight at all on their product. Minimalism and quiet luxury are synonymous with the brand, with their focus being squarely put on fit and fabrication, with not a single graphical element in site. Known especially for their knitwear and denim, they take pride in their use of unorthodox and incredibly rare fabrication. This particular skirt is cut entirely from a space-dyed yarn, where segments of yarn are dyed separately and then woven together to give a marled texture. Here, it is woven so that the skirt almost appears glitched, warping from one side to the other. Super soft against the skin and great for trans-seasonal wear. Features side split at the leg for range of motion. Ultra stretchy waistband to accommodate a range of sizes.
